The Idido is located just east of the small town of Yirgacheffe in the Gedeo zone of southern Ethiopia. It is highest-altitude coffee growing areas in the region. Its growing condition is 1800-2400masl in volcanic soil rich in minerals and nitrogen. The coffee is known for its sweet and delicate flavors. Look for floral, melon, and citrus notes. Washed Idido coffees tend to have more body (creamier mouthfeel). But they tend to have less complexity and muted flavor compared to their natural counterparts.
